New mobile-enabled point of sale system creates seamless in-store experience to help engage customers differently
LONDON, June 1, 2017 – Aptos, a recognised market leader in retail technology solutions, today announced a new partnership with Kurt Geiger to introduce an advanced mobile-enabled POS system into its stores to enhance their omni-channel customer experience. Aptos Store, incorporating Mobile Store, will be rolled out across 62 Kurt Geiger stores in the UK and Ireland, as well as in its Italian outlet.
The partnership will put in place a more dynamic and attentive in-store customer experience, incorporating iPad® Minis and iPad® Touches with integrated payment devices, alongside tills. Kurt Geiger staff will be empowered with access to a single view of stock, transactions and customers, which will help them answer queries and process payments quickly, seamlessly and without transferring to a till. Linking with the Kurt Geiger in-store app, the mobile devices will also support endless aisle shopping so customers can order products not available in a specific location and have those items delivered to their preferred store or to their home.
Aptos’ cutting-edge Store solution also comes with pre-configured country packs which will allow for a smooth enablement of Kurt Geiger’s international stores, a key asset as and when the retailer expands into new territories.
Through its new agreement with Aptos, Kurt Geiger has a strategic partner to enable it to deliver on its commitment to aligning the store with customers’ cross-channel shopping habits and drive growth through future international expansion.
