Off-Price Retailer Familia Deploys Merchandise Planning Solution from TXT Retail, an Aptos Company

Leading Russian retailer known for its ‘treasure hunt’ experience optimizes planning and buying decisions across categories

ATLANTA — Sept. 5, 2018 — TXT Retail, an Aptos Company, today announced that Familia, a leading Russian off-price retailer, has successfully rolled out the TXT Retail Merchandise Planning solution across its product categories and more than 200 stores.

The TXT Retail solution is now supporting Familia in all aspects of strategic product and store planning to set up financial targets for the company.

The Merchandise Planning solution is in use by multiple teams and departments, including analysts, buyers, the product team and the finance department.

The technology initiative is a joint delivery with system integrator KORUS Consulting, TXT Retail’s partner in Russia.

Familia sells a wide range of apparel, footwear, accessories, household goods and other merchandise from global brands, with up to an 85 percent discount.

During the next project phase, Familia is focusing on in-season planning and the ability to deal with supply and demand variability faster and with greater efficiency.
