Largest global technology vendor focused exclusively on retail accelerates European retailers’ omnichannel transformations
ATLANTA — Feb. 5, 2019 — Aptos, Inc., a recognised market leader in retail technology solutions, today announced that it will showcase significant technology innovations and product updates across its Singular Retail suite at EuroCIS, a leading trade fair for retail technology that will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 19 to 21 February.
With the EuroCIS event focusing on omnichannel retail, including how to address shoppers’ expectations via different but fully integrated channels, Aptos will display its omnichannel retail systems at Stand E28, Hall 10.
Aptos’ solutions, including its best-in-class applications for point of sale, retail planning and order management, are used by over 1,000 retail brands, including more than 400 of Europe’s leading retailers.
At its stand, Aptos will showcase its market-leading technology and will highlight several of the major updates and functional enhancements from its latest release, including:
- Aptos Merchandise Lifecycle Management brings new capabilities that support the planning, design, delivery and management of inventory through collaborative, analytic and visual planning innovations and extended support for omnichannel retailing. New functionality includes virtual-reality like planning capabilities to perform computer-designed merchandise style outs – the ability to simply drag & drop product into virtual floorsets that set localized, customer-focused assortments. These new highly graphical functions also extend into buying sessions, the ability of a brand to sell their collections to their customers on mobile devices, also taking orders real time.
- Aptos Store for point of sale now offers out-of-the-box support for 38 countries, with an additional four countries in 2019, to support retailers’ international expansion efforts. Aptos Store also introduced several enhancements focused on omnichannel associate and customer experiences and now offers standard integration with leading payment solution providers Aurus and Adyen.
- Aptos Merchandising and Aptos Analytics are now fully integrated with Aptos’ planning and supply chain applications that were acquired from TXT Retail in late 2017. These integrations allow retailers to break down silos inherent within the merchandise, customer and order lifecycles to better anticipate demand and ensure inventory is placed in the most profitable locations.
- Aptos Enterprise Order Management’s latest release introduced a new, modern architecture that offers superior application scalability and performance. An enhanced routing and inventory publishing engine leverages the new architecture to help retailers maximize sales across channels and minimize shipping costs while increasing inventory turns. The new architecture provides unsurpassed reliability and scale for large-volume retailers and during peak sales periods. Also featured in the release, Aptos Enterprise Order Management is fully integrated with Aptos Analytics, offering retailers a single enterprise view and actionable insight across omnichannel operations, from planning to orders to transactions.
In addition to major developments across its solutions, Aptos experts will speak to EuroCIS delegates about the latest innovations with Aptos ONE, its microservices-based SaaS platform. Aptos ONE extends across the entire Aptos suite, offering one set of universal capabilities designed to enable retailers to compete in the complex world of constant disruption.
“EuroCIS will be the ideal setting to present to the European retail community the latest advancements in our end-to-end suite,” notes Richard Willis, regional vice president, Aptos.
“Aptos offers the most complete, robust and proven retail solutions in the market. We are a true omnichannel partner that helps retailers deliver a seamless experience to shoppers no matter where, when or how they are engaging with the brand, whilst ensuring retailers have the right level of data to plan for hyper assortments across the channels.
“As the European retail landscape faces constant disruption, Aptos is helping retailers to better adapt to change, and to break down the silos between customer, order and merchandise data to create new levels of excellence and profitability in their omnichannel operations.”
To offer more insight to EuroCIS delegates, including how to improve omnichannel margins, Willis will present the session “From Assortment to POS to Fulfillment: Integrating the entire journey to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences and higher margins.” on 21 February at 1 pm, Hall 10 F72. Willis will share how an end-to-end approach, from planning to engagement and execution can help retailers unlock hidden omnichannel margins by ensuring localized assortments, integrated experiences and deep fulfilment flexibility.
