The Largest Department Store Chain in Panama Will Deploy Aptos Merchandising to Optimize Inventory Decisions and Delight Customers
ATLANTA, November 7, 2017 – Aptos, Inc., a recognized market leader in retail technology solutions, today announced Tova S.A. has selected the Aptos Merchandising solution to modernize its retail operations and optimize inventory aligned with customer expectations.
In business for more than 40 years, Tova S.A. is the largest department store chain in Panama and the country’s second largest employer. The retailer has 19 stores across its three flagship brands — El Campeon, Madison and Steven’s.
With Aptos Merchandising, Tova S.A. will benefit from a suite of applications designed to analyze, order, price and distribute merchandise accurately and efficiently to delight customers and maximize profitability.
Once deployed, Aptos Merchandising will allow Tova S.A. to streamline decision-making and execution in inventory forecasting, purchasing, planning, staging, allocation and replenishment from the point of receiving at the stores to managing store transfers and returns.
Aptos Merchandising will integrate with Tova S.A.’s existing enterprise resource planning, point of sale and warehouse management systems to orchestrate all merchandising and inventory decisions across its extended supply chain, and to ensure the retailer has the right inventory at the right location at the right time to improve sales and reduce on-hand inventory and markdowns.
