Aptos recently surveyed 50 top retail supply chain executives to find out which areas of order management they are struggling with and what areas of opportunity exist for them.
In our analysis, we found that:
- 40% of respondents believe consumer expectations for speed and flexibility will impact their order management strategy.
- improving the consistency of the customer experience between ecommerce and stores is a key initiative in the next 12 to 18 months.
- fulfillment, product availability and order routing are the top challenges within the customer order lifecycle.
