#ParisRetailWeek: Technology is the Bridge to Omni-Channel Shopping Journeys

Next week, the City of Light will be transformed to the City of Retail, as more than 40,000 retail professionals are scheduled to attend Paris Retail Week 2018, Sept. 10-12 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The event will explore the opportunities and challenges of 360-degree retail, including new models of distribution, the consumer path to purchase, omni-channel CRM, shopper-marketing and agile logistics.

During the three-day event, Aptos will welcome retailers to booth N 074 to discuss how its omni-channel commerce and merchandise lifecycle management solutions are empowering retailers to localize assortments, streamline operations and unify experiences wherever shoppers choose to engage.

Aptos will be showcasing the power of its Singular Retail solutions through live demonstrations and case studies from its customer base that includes more than 1,000 retail brands in 55 countries. In Europe, Aptos' client base has grown rapidly in recent years; it now includes 350-plus European retailers following its acquisition of TXT Retail in 2017.

Tying into the event's theme of "Smart Phygital," on Sept. 10, Aptos will present the workshop "The Bridge between Digital and Physical Channels in the Global Omni-Channel Shopping Journey: The Role of an Integrated POS, OMS and CRM Solution." The session will discuss how three critical pieces of technology — point of sale, order management and customer relationship management — are the bridge that connects the store to every step of the customer journey, ensuring seamless experiences.

"Customer-centricity has long been a mantra for retail companies, but with disparate solutions to cover the disciplines of planning, order management, CRM and POS, many retailers still lack the visibility and orchestration to deliver on this paradigm," explains Nicolas Peraldo, Aptos strategic director, France. "By breaking the silos that are inherent within the customer, order and product cycles, the Aptos portfolio helps retailers better understand their customers, localize assortments based on customer attributes, manage orders, and ultimately execute online and in-store transactions for a truly seamless customer experience."
