Aptos Expands Global Retail Support with Out-of-the-Box Localization for Japan

Expanded CyberM Partnership Provides In-Country Services Support
in Japan and Across the Entire APAC Region

MONTREAL, September 30, 2015 – Aptos, Inc., (formerly Epicor Retail Solutions), today announced its retail technology solutions now offer out-of-the-box localization for Japan, providing key functionality to support retailers’ “land and expand” globalization initiatives.

The company also announced an expanded partnership with CyberM Information Technology Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of CyberM Group, to provide international retail services and support in Japan to Aptos retailer customers. CyberM, which has partnered with Aptos for three years, currently resells Aptos retail technology solutions and provides in country implementation and support services to retailers within the Asia Pacific region, including China, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore.

Michael Kors is among the globally recognized retailers in APAC that use Aptos solutions. With the addition of in-country support in Japan, through the CyberM partnership, Aptos customers can now leverage the company’s best-of-breed software and support to support retail operations throughout the entire Asia Pacific and Japan regions. The Japanese market represents a significant opportunity for retailers. The second largest retail market in the world with 127 million consumers, Japan accounts for more than 55% of the entire Asian retail market.

Aptos now offers retail solutions and support to 25 countries worldwide, via a global master configuration that provides local language translation, currency requirements, fiscal requirements, other country-specific requirements, certification as required per country, and a process to accommodate future countries and additional translations.

Aptos also provides the comprehensive retail software support to its customers internationally via its International Upkeep Service (IUS), which provides retailers with:
• A framework to enter new countries with a leading voice
• A collaborative effort to define newly supported country requirements
• An ongoing audit of countries to maintain country compliancy
• Core software updates to the evolving requirements of the countries
