Aptos Engage 2019 was held at the Hilton Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Fla from April 29 – May 2. Attendees praised the 2019 conference, noting the heavy emphasis on networking opportunities, real world customer stories shared throughout the event, and the content-rich tracks based on each attendee’s role and solution interests.
Aptos Engage 2019: In Photos Aptos CEO and Culture Leader, Noel Goggin welcomed attendees on April 30 to the Engage conference. Goggin shared several key messages including his perspective that retail transformation requires not only a vision, but the courage to engage differently, change and evolve. During Goggin’s opening keynote, several Aptos customers took the stage to share first-hand accounts of their technology transformation journeys with Aptos. Pictured here is Finish Line’s Brittany Schubert who discussed how Aptos Merchandise Financial Planning has helped the company achieve “right product, right place, right plans.” Always one of the most sought after experiences during Engage, spots started filling early for the structured networking session. Aptos VP of Retail Innovation, Nikki Baird kicked off Tuesday afternoon with a look at the current state of retail and how technology has evolved to keep pace. Aptos’ Ian Rawlins, Vikas Aron, Nick Leeper and Dave Sheekey join Baird on-stage to provide an update on the latest advancements across Aptos’ end to end retail suite. The Genius Bar at the Engage Hub was the hot spot at the conference to network, recharge and get expert advice on Aptos solutions. Attendees enjoyed an evening at SeaWorld Orlando that included aquarium tours, roller coaster rides, games, delicious food and excellent company. While the roller coaster and aquarium at SeaWorld were a big hit, Louie the sloth was certainly the crowd favorite! Brendan Witcher, VP, Principal Analyst at Forrester took the main stage Wednesday to discuss the top tech investments in retail – what’s hot, and what’s not! For Engage executive track attendees, they enjoyed a Retail Innovation Safari on Wednesday. The group visited X Studios, explored Disney Springs and finished with an immersive hyper reality experience that examined the future of digital shopping. Throughout the conference, customers and colleagues were presented with Think Differently Awards. Pictured here is The Vitamin Shoppe’s Scott Devlin receiving an award for Retail Transformation. Nikki Baird took the stage once again to moderate the “Now. New. Next.” panel that offered distinct perspectives to help retailers thrive in the world of Retail Unlimited. Continuing the Aptos commitment to raise money for RetailROI and the Bercy, Haiti project, Aptos raffled bags generously donated by TUMI. In addition, a portion of each Engage registration was donated to RetailROI. During the conference, Noel Goggin announced that to date, Aptos has raised over $175,000 in support of RetailROI. Engage attendees concluded the event dancing the night away at the annual Customer Appreciation party. Cheers to another successful Engage!
